ellipsis /i-lip-seez/n. :
1. A set of dots indicating the omission of words from speech or writing.
2. In a script, the indication of a dramatic pause, a shift, a wish unspoken, a revelation in process, or a writer too lazy to finish a sentence.
3. The newsletter of the Manitoba Association of Playwrights.
